Client: Aptimize
Subject: To highlight the slowest load times of the Fortune 500.
Live Date: May 11, 2010: VentureBeat, Mashable,

Description: Aptimize has the ability to significantly decrease load times on websites. The assumption is that Fortune 500 companies have significantly more users. Thus, if a site is slow to load, it will needlessly cost the company a great deal of money. Aptimize to the rescue!

Visually, the goal was to semi-consciously equate 'old' with 'slow' and simply show the top offenders. Aged graph paper, cut-and-paste pencil graphics, and rubber-stamped names all lend themselves to the 'old' visual cues. The tortoise really drives the point home as well (not to mention the data!).

We worked very closely with Jones-Dilworth to make this graphic happen.
